Family Caregiver Training
At LifeCare, we understand the importance of family members being involved in the care of their loved ones. To engage family members in the care process we made our online Caregiver Academy and training program accessible to you.
Family Caregivers can learn:
- the basics of assisting with activities of daily living,
- assistance with coping,
- understanding the process of aging and associated behaviors,
- or would like to learn about signs, symptoms, and stages of the diseases, we can find the right materials for you from our long list of topics.
In addition to online Caregiver training, our expert team of Nurses and Therapists are always available to provide hands-on training on managing various conditions, such as medication management, catheter, ostomy and wound care, glucose monitoring, pain management, therapeutic exercises, use of adaptive equipment and much more.
